The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reported that indoor levels of some pollutants can be two to five times higher than typical outdoor levels — and Americans spend most of their time indoors. The EPA's indoor air guidance is the framework we assess against: identify the pollutant sources, measure what's actually in the air, and fix causes rather than symptoms.
